Also Father Richard Rohr who thinks the 12 step programs are the greatest contribution to spirituality in 20th century. He offers that all of us are addicted and are most harmful addiction is to our stinking thinking. We could all use these community gatherings.
Also wondering if you know about the practice of spiritual direction. Covers the space between a therapist and a person of the cloth. Has been very helpful in my journey of faith. See Spiritual Directors International for more.
