The Body Vanished

With a title like that, who doesn't want to watch this film? It's 45 minutes, filmed in 1939 and has a twist you don't see coming. I'm sold. Some of the jokes are corney and it's sexist like you'd expect but this is a humdinger of a film from the Golden Age of detective fiction. It's got almost everything I want in a story like this: a small number of suspects, not too may decoys, rapidly unfolding action, a solution that isn't obvious from the murder scene and the answer is so simple you miss it.
