Can anyone tell me in what essays/books Mill wrote about the utility/greatness of classical authors, as mentioned in this podcast podcast?

It’s all over the place but the review of grotes history of Greece is one good example which you would need to find in the complete works

No doubt. I have a deep belief in the power of individual genius but yes his milieu would have been essential and I don’t see how he could have written so many powerful women character without knowing a few
