Baliol Blount Holloway (1883-1967), actor, known as ‘Bay’ or ‘Ba’, was born on 28 February 1883 in Brentwood, Billericay, second son of Thomas Henry Holloway (b.1833), a retired wine merchant, and only son of Emma Harriet Jordan (1853-1895).
Very interesting. It is curious he has no Wikipedia entry. His current status is somewhat similar to that of George Arliss who I wrote about recently, massively popular in his day (an Oscar winner) but now almost entirely forgotten or when remembered dismissed as hopelessly old fashioned.

So many actors get forgotten, especially ones like Holloway who don't quite make it to fame.
