Elegant piece. And I’m very glad I signed up a year ago. Learned such a lot in a year - and I thought I was quite swotty to start with. Always good to read and think afresh, always good to be provoked! Thanks for a good year.
I'm lucky enough to live in Ely, we're so lucky. Looking forward to talking about Shakespeare on Sunday, I'm finding it amusing using Google Bard to understand the great man's works.
By far the most impressive section of Maestro is the re-creation of Bernstein conducting Mahler's Resurrection Symphony in Ely Cathedral.
