It's interesting to note that I, as a GenX, grew up without the internet yet here I am parenting GenZ teens who were born with a mouse (and later smartphone) in their hands. The difference (as least in my experience) is that I use the internet and all its application as opportunities to grow and flourish my internally propelled creativity whereas my kids spend more time consuming than creating.
