The new book of Helen Vendler's essays
Is this book a good place to begin reading her work, or do you have a better recommendation?
Yes I think it is actually … a good way to test her style and she’s not too “heavy” in this one : otherwise I would pick based on the poet you most want to read about , she covered a lot of major writers so go where you are interested
