It's common for chicken & waffles and steak & eggs to be on diner menus every month of the year!

This is why I love this country

I checked out your article on how to walk around London thanks to this one. It's so beautiful, such a great way to know a city. I always say if you're not looking for something specific, you end up seeing much more.

Definitely! Thanks for reading. I’m walking round New York today!

I've never been there (I live in Spain), but I hope you really enjoy it!

I’m from Arlington and don’t like Bob & Edith’s -- too greasy for me -- but I love that you appreciate our town. The birds are definitely very vocal this time of year.

Incredibly vocal! You are lucky

Welcome! Grew up in Alexandria - hope you make it to Old Town.

Welcome to Virginia Henry. I live in Arlington as well, and as a recent(ish) transplant from the UK, have also come to appreciate the flowers, birds, and uniquely greasy American breakfasts. Metro 29, also on Langston Blvd, and somewhat across the way from Bob & Edith's is also a fine breakfast establishment.

What is it about American breakfasts? When I visited England, breakfast had eggs, bacon, ham, fish, fried bread, roasted tomato and some other stuff I have probably forgotten but still lingers on my waistline.

Abundance is the norm?

I won’t make it this trip but hopefully I’ll be back!
